Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association is a noble charitable organisation dedicated to supporting people with physical and mental disabilities. We had the privilege of visiting the centre for a heartwarming charity concert to raise funds to help these incredible people.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and an overwhelming sense of community.

Book Launch - History and State of Music Education in Seychelles

On June 26th, Seychelles celebrated the launch of a new book, ‘History and State of music education in Seychelles'. The event was held at the prestigous L'Escale Resort & Spa witnessed by  invited senior government officials and several international key figures in music education. 

On Saturday June 28, we had the privilege of visiting Bright To Special Home in Johor Bahru, a refuge that compassionately cares for individuals aged 7 to 45 with special needs.

There is undeniable power in music — and what we experienced that day was so much more than just music and dance. It was a profound lesson in unconditional joy, a celebration of inner strength, and a heartfelt reminder that beauty resides in every soul, regardless of circumstances.

On the 29th of March, we had a profound privilege of visiting the

Persatuan Kebajikan Orang Tua Ceria, a #charitable organization located in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor Bahru, #malaysia, to bring joy and cheer to the senior citizens through a special charity concert.

As part of our charity outreach, on Thursday July 17th, we had the honour of spending an enjoyable afternoon at Jireh Utama Old Folks' Home, a humble #home for 18 cherished elders, each with their own story and challenges.

Piano Pedagogy Seminar

We were delighted to have been invited to attend a seminar on piano performance and pedagogy. The seminar was organised by The Instrumental Music Education and Research Laboratory at European University Cyprus, in collaboration with the Cyprus Music School Association with Dr. Yannis Rammos.

On February 22nd, we had the privilege of performing at the vibrant Senai Ulala event, an occasion that brought together local #communities in a celebration of #culture, #arts, and #UnityInTheCommunity. We were honoured to be invited by Hon. Teo Nie Ching, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Communications, and Hon. Wong Bor Yang, Johor State Assemblyman, both of whom played an instrumental role in making the event a success.

As part of our ongoing community outreach, we recently had the privilege of hosting an interactive charity concert, made possible by a generous donation to Shan De Orphanage Home.

Shan De Orphanage Home has been a sanctuary of hope, love, and care for children in need. Established with the mission of providing a safe and nurturing environment, the home has touched the lives of many unprivileged children, offering them the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. Many of these children have been abandoned by their parents, while others were rescued from abusive situations.

Songs of Hope

On December 31, 2021, John launched his album Songs of Hope (Vol. 1). The debut was well-attended, with numerous guests from various countries—including Canada, the Philippines, Zambia, Botswana, the Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, South Africa, Mauritius, and Madagascar—joining online to celebrate the occasion. The Guest of Honour was Pastor Ellsworth Mark Baxen, President of the Mauritius Seventh-day Adventist Conference.
